Recently, the photovoltaic panels on the rooftop of the Suzhou Municipal Administrative Service Center have been put into use. The photovoltaic project is expected to generate more than 620,000 kilowatt hours of electricity annually, equivalent to 247.95 tons of standard coal, which can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 618.14 tons and sulfur dioxide emissions by 18.6 tons, equivalent to planting 33,800 trees.
